2020 (Nashville SC): Medranda made one appearance with Nashville SC in 2020, when he was subbed on for eight minutes in a 1-0 loss to Portland. He recorded one shot on goal.
2019 (Sporting Kansas City): In his final season for Sporting Kansas City, the Colombian made 10 regular season appearances, starting two. He tallied one assist and eight shots.
2018 (Sporting Kansas City): In Medranda’s most efficient season to date, the Colombian scored two goals on just eight shots in 12 regular season appearances, totaling 728 minutes. The Colombian suffered a season-ending knee injury in May of the campaign, cutting his year short.
2017 (Sporting Kansas City): In his most active professional season, the Colombian appeared in 33 regular season matches (24 starts), totaling 2,086 minutes. He added 49 shots and two goals.
2016 (Sporting Kansas City / Swope Park Rangers): Medranda found himself a staple of SKC’s lineup, playing in 28 regular season matches and starting 22 of them. Medranda also scored his first MLS goal in a 3-1 win over NYCFC on July 10. He also added two assists on the season. Medranda also played one match with the SKC’s USL side Swope Park Rangers, getting the start and playing 70 minutes, a 2-1 win over Portland Timbers 2 on March 26. The Colombian made his MLS Cup Playoffs debut during this campaign, coming on a second-half substitute in 1-0 Knockout Round loss to eventual champion Seattle Sounders FC.
2015 (Sporting Kansas City): During his third season, Medranda started all seven games he played in, tallying 436 minutes and totaling five shots.
2014 (Sporting Kansas City / OKC Energy): The Colombian featured in five games for SKC, starting one and playing a total of 131 minutes for the squad. He also spent some time on loan with USL affiliate OKC Energy, playing 412 minutes and making nine appearances (five starts).
2013 (Sporting Kansas City): In his rookie year, Sporting Kansas City won MLS Cup in a penalty shootout over Real Salt Lake. Medranda made one appearance in a 3-0 win against Columbus on September 7, playing for one minute and getting one shot on goal.
2013 (Deportivo Pereira): Making seven appearances and four starts, Medranda logged 369 minutes and added his first professional goal.
2012 (Deportivo Pereira): In his first season as a professional in Colombia, Medranda started both games he appeared in, gathering a total of 112 minutes.
YOUTH EXPERIENCE
Medranda joined the youth program of Colombian side Deportivo Pereira as a 12-year-old before climbing the ladder to the senior team. He made 16 appearances in all competitions for the senior team in two seasons, tallying two goals.
ACQUIRED
Sounders FC acquired Medranda from Nashville SC in exchange for midfielder Handwalla Bwana and $225,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) on October 21, 2020. Sounders FC can receive an additional $25,000 in GAM, if Bwana meets certain performance-based metrics.
