Seattle Sounders forward Oalex Anderson was fined by the MLS Disciplinary Committee on Wednesday for a simulation incident in the Sounders' match versus the LA Galaxy on July 9.
Anderson, who subbed on in the second half and played 26 minutes in game, attempted to draw a penalty in the box against LA defender Dave Romney in the 86th minute. No foul was given on the play, and the Sounders went on to lose to LA, 1-0.
Despite the undisclosed fine, Anderson received no additional disciplinary action and will be available for selection for Wednesday evening's match against FC Dallas at CenturyLink Field.
