PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2025 (Seattle): In his second season with Sounders FC, de la Vega started 34 of 36 appearances in 2025 in all competitions, finishing second on the team with 10 goals while tallying five assists. He played in five of Seattle’s Leagues Cup 2025 fixtures, scoring a brace in a 7-0 win over Liga MX side Cruz Azul (July 31) in the opening match of the tournament. His stunning volley in second-half stoppage time was named a finalist for the FIFA Puskás Award, given to the most spectacular goal scored globally in men’s soccer. He also scored against the LA Galaxy in the Leagues Cup Semifinals (August 27). De la Vega played in three Concacaf Champions Cup matches, scoring three goals, and appeared in two FIFA Club World Cup 2025 fixtures.

2024 (Seattle): De la Vega appeared in 16 regular-season matches (nine starts) in his first year with the club, scoring a goal against LAFC in his debut (February 24) and recording an assist against San Jose (September 18). He appeared in one Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match, two Leagues Cup 2024 matches and all four MLS Cup Playoffs fixtures for the Rave Green.

2023 (Lanús): In his final season in Argentina, de la Vega started 36 of 38 appearances in league play, a career high, scoring six goals and tallying seven assists, including a Lanús’ first goal of the season against CA Colon. He helped the club to a fourth-place finish in the first phase of Liga Profesional play with a 12-6-9 record. Following the fourth-place finish, the midfielder tallied four assists in 13 matches during Copa de la Liga play, the second phase of Liga Profesional. He also appeared in two Copa Argentina matches, in which Lanús fell in the Round of 32 to Colón.

2022 (Lanús): Appeared in one match during the season due to a cruciate ligament tear.

2021 (Lanús): Appeared in 36 matches (16 starts) in all competitions for Lanús, scoring four goals and adding two assists. De la Vega scored a goal and tallied and assist against San Lorenzo on October 20 in Liga Profesional play, with Lanús finishing in fifth place in Group B in phase one before finishing 10th in phase two. He also started five matches during the club’s Copa Sudamericana run where he scored one goal and added one assist with Lanús finishing second in Group H.

2019-2020 (Lanús): Started 16 of 35 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals and adding four assists. Scored four goals in Liga Profesional play, including a brace against Athletico Tucumán on February 23, 2020, en route to Lanús’ seventh-place finish. Tallied two assists against Boca Juniors on November 20, 2020, in Lanús’ Group Stage match during its Copa de la Liga Profesional run.

2018-2019 (Lanús): Started seven of 15 appearances in all competitions, logging 649 total minutes, with Lanús finishing 11th in Liga Profesional. He scored his first goal in Lanús’ Copa de la Superliga run against Vélez Sarsfield on April 27, 2019.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Da la Vega made his Argentina National Team debut on July 22, 2021, playing in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, appearing in three matches (one start).

Prior to the Olympics, the midfielder made 17 appearances for Argentina’s Youth National Team at both the U-20 and U-23 levels, scoring a goal in an international friendly against Saudi Arabia’s U-23s on June 11, 2021. De la Vega started his international career at the 2019 South American U-20 Championship, debuting at 17 years old. He tallied two assists in nine matches (six starts) en route to Argentina’s second-place finish at the tournament. De la Vega also represented the Argentina U-20s at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland in 2019, appearing in three of Argentina’s matches at the tournament.
