The Seattle radio station 107.7 The End will be the radio home of the Sounders this Sunday for the team’s match in Los Angeles against the Galaxy (1 p.m.; ESPN; 107.7 The End, El Rey 1360am).
In advance of the game, the station looked up the most popular bands from some of the players’ hometowns. Picking Nirvana from Aaron Kovar’s hometown of Seattle was simple, but finding a band from Clint Dempsey’s small town of Nacogdoches, Texas - well, not so easy.
