What's better than scoring the winning goal in a massive tournament? Doing it with your best friend by your side.
On Wednesday evening, forward Jordan Morris netted the game-winning tally in the 88th minute of the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup Final, pacing the United States to a 2-1 win over Jamaica. Of the 63,000-plus fans who were at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., one stood out in particular: Cristian Roldan. The third-year midfielder was invited by U.S. Head Coach Bruce Arena to attend the match after earning his first cap for the Stars and Stripes in the group stage.
Moments after the match, Roldan found Morris for a moment they (or we) will never forget.
Congrats, guys!
