VOTE NOW: Seattle Sounders forward Raúl Ruidíaz nominated for 2019 AT&T Goal of the Year

On Wednesday, MLSsoccer.com announced the nominees for the 2019 AT&T Goal of the Year, with Seattle Sounders forward Raúl Ruidíaz earning a nomination for his incredible goal against Atlanta United in July. In the 58th minute, Ruidíaz won back possession by stealing the ball from Julian Gressel before playing a pass to Cristian Roldan. He then made a quick run, settled the pass from Roldan off his chest, headed the ball past a second defender, flicked the ball over 6’2” center back Miles Robinson at full speed and then rifled his volley past Brad Guzan to make the score 1-0. For his efforts, the Peruvian striker earned MLS Goal of the Week honors.

Voting will close on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 11:59 PM PT, with the winners being announced on Thursday, Oct 24. You can vote for Ruidíaz HERE.
