RENTON, WASH. - Tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. PT for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup third-round match between Seattle Sounders FC and the Atlanta Silverbacks (NASL). The game will be played Wednesday, May 30 at Starfire Sports Stadium in Tukwila. First kick is 7 p.m. PT.

The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, the U.S. Soccer Federation's National Championship, is an annual competition open to all amateur and professional soccer teams affiliated with U.S. Soccer. It is the oldest annual team tournament in U.S. sports and among the oldest soccer tournaments of its type in the world.
Seattle won the Open Cup in 2009, 2010 and 2011, and is bidding to become the first team in the tournament’s 99-year history to capture four successive championships.
