It's a Sounders unity.
On Thursday evening, Sounders FC 2 midfielder Francisco Narbon suffered a devastating injury in the first half in which he had to be carted off the field. The 23-year-old Panama native underwent successful surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center on Friday evening to repair fractures to his right tibia and fiblula. Narbon is in his second season with the USL club, where he has made 35 appearances as a holding midfielder.
He posted this photo on Instagram Friday morning:
His teammates were quick to show him love, as well.
Even the Twitter handle for Panama's national team gave support to the young midfielder, who has a couple of caps for his home country. Best of luck in your recovery, Francisco! 💚
