SEATTLE, WASH. – Seattle Sounders FC today issued the following statement on the passing of longtime soccer journalist Grant Wahl:
“Seattle Sounders FC is shocked and saddened to learn of the tragic death of Grant Wahl. Grant’s dedication to the sport of soccer is unrivaled. Our game was his life and he was one of the leading soccer journalists in our country. We are heartbroken for Grant’s family and grieve with the entire U.S. soccer community.”
