The sixth edition of Sounders FC Classics, a new series in which we re-air some of the best matches in club history, is almost here (7:00 p.m. PT; JOEtv, SoundersFC.com, the Sounders FC App and 950 KJR AM)!
The match this week, Seattle’s thrilling 4-3 comeback victory over D.C. United in the Summer of 2017, was selected by supporters in the second iteration of a fan poll for Sounders FC Classics.
Presented by TCL, this match saw the Rave Green down 0-3 in the 50th minute to a D.C. United side that had struggled to get results all season. But by the time the final whistle sounded, the Sounders had pulled off the biggest comeback in Major League Soccer history, securing all three points.
