Happy Halloween!
Amidst the chaos of the 2017 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, Sounders players and fans were able to enjoy the festivities of the spooky, sugar-filled holiday. Here's a look at some of our favorites:
Goalkeeper Tyler Miller and midfielder Gustav Svensson went all out with their costumes, with Miller dressing up as a bag of jelly beans and Svensson enjoying his first Halloween in the U.S. as a minion from Despicable Me.
According to his Instagram, defender Brad Evans spent the evening with Miller and Svensson and was all monkey business with this outfit.
Forward Will Bruin had the cutest trick-or-treater of the night in front of his house.
There were also some fans who dressed up as players. This cool dude is a young Stefan Frei!
How about this for creativity? This supporter didn't just go as Clint Dempsey, but MLS Cup-winning Clint Dempsey. Too good.
On Tuesday, we shared on SoundersFC.com the story of the three sisters who went all out with Cascadia-themed costumes. We also took part in the big Halloween event at Northgate Mall, which included a few thousand people enjoying the holiday.
It's time to remove the costumes and gear up, though, because the biggest match of the season is on Thursday. Don't miss the second leg of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Vancouver Whitecaps at CenturyLink Field (7:30 p.m. PT; FS1, FOX Deportes, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360 AM | TICKETS).
