Once a Sounder, always a Sounder.
Major League Soccer released the full 2017 regular-season schedule last week, and a number of former Seattle Sounders will be returning to CenturyLink Field this season. Take a look at the list below to see when you can catch your favorite ex-Sounders back in the Emerald City.
Dylan Remick — Houston Dynamo
Sunday, June 4, 7 p.m. PT
A member of the Sounders’ MLS Cup-winning side in 2016, Remick had spent all four seasons of his professional career in Seattle before the Houston Dynamo selected him in Stage 1 of the 2016 MLS Re-Entry Draft this past December. He made 44 appearances and 32 starts during his time with the Sounders.
Servando Carrasco — Orlando City SC
Wednesday, June 21, 7:30 p.m. PT
Carrasco started his career with Seattle in 2011 and spent nearly three seasons with the Rave Green. He recorded one goal and one assist in 40 appearances before joining the Houston Dynamo midway through 2013. He has spent the last two years with Orlando City, recording 31 starts in 43 appearances and tallying four assists.
Lamar Neagle — D.C. United
Wednesday, July 19, 7:30 p.m. PT
Neagle made three separate stints with the Sounders: 2009, 2011 and 2013-15. He totaled 116 regular-season appearances, recording 26 goals and 17 assists. United acquired Neagle from the Sounders on Dec. 7, 2015, in exchange for General Allocation Money and Targeted Allocation Money. He scored nine goals and added six assists in his first season in D.C. last year.
Mike Azira, Marc Burch — Colorado Rapids
Sunday, Oct. 22, 1 p.m. PT
Azira made 25 appearances for Seattle from 2014-15 before finding a regular starting role in Colorado in 2016 after Seattle waived him in December 2015.
Burch made 49 appearances for Seattle from 2012-13, tallying seven assists and logging nearly 3,000 minutes on the back line. He has spent the last three seasons with the Rapids after Colorado selected him in Stage 1 of the 2013 MLS Re-Entry Draft.
