- Goalkeeper Bryan Meredith makes his first MLS appearance since 2012 as he starts in place of Stefan Frei, who is out with a concussion.
- The Sounders acquired Phoenix Rising FC goalkeeper Zac Lubin on loan for Saturday’s match, as third-string goalkeeper Calle Brown is also out with a concussion.
- Waylon Francis starts at left back in place of Nouhou, who is available on the bench. With Kelvin Leerdam still out with a hamstring injury, Jordan McCrary returns to right back and Cristian Roldan moves back to central midfield, with Nicolás Lodeiro also returning up a line to right midfield.
