- Gustav Svensson starts at center back alongside Chad Marshall after Roman Torres played in two World Cup Qualifying matches with Panama this past week. Other returning internationals in WCQ play Jordan Morris, Clint Dempsey and Joevin Jones earn starts on Saturday.
- With Brad Evans out, Oniel Fisher makes his sixth start of the season at right back.
- Harry Shipp returns to the Starting XI after hurting his hip flexor before the match against Columbus Crew SC on May 31.
- Henry Wingo is back on the matchday roster for the first time in MLS play since April 29 after battling an ankle injury. He came on as a second-half substitute on Tuesday in the Sounders’ 2-1 win over the Portland Timbers in the U.S. Open Cup.
