- Nouhou returns from his one-match suspension for yellow-card accumulation and starts at left fullback.
- Clint Dempsey begins on the bench for the second straight match after coming on as a second-half substitute in the Sounders’ 2-1 win over the Colorado Rapids on Wednesday.
- Captain Osvaldo Alonso misses his second straight match as he remained in Seattle with hip tightness, but the injury is not expected to be long term.
