The Seattle Sounders have fallen in the latest editions of media outlets’ MLS Power Rankings.
Seattle is No. 10 on SI.com (No. 7 last week), No. 12 on MLSSoccer.com (No. 10) and No. 13 on ESPNFC.com (No. 8).
The Sounders went 0-1-1 this past week, needing a 94th-minute equalizer from Nicolas Lodeiro to save a point in Houston before losing 4-2 on the road to the Timbers.
The team had made a real push in the rankings last week as it entered on a four-game unbeaten run and looked revitalized after the addition of Lodeiro and interim head coach Brian Schmetzer.
The Sounders have a bye this weekend during the international break before traveling to San Jose to take on the Earthquakes on Saturday, Sept. 10, a team directly above them in the Western Conference standings.
