- Forward Raúl Ruidíaz makes his first Sounders start after debuting as a substitute last weekend.
- Center back Román Torres earns his first start since April 22 after suffering an injury and then departing with Panama for Russia for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
- Center back Chad Marshall remained in Seattle with a a right calf contusion, but it’s not expected to be long term.
- Captain Osvaldo Alonso makes his first start since June 30, replacing Víctor Rodríguez (hamstring strain) in the starting lineup, with Cristian Roldan advancing to a more attacking role.
