Seattle Sounders rise to No. 4 in MLS Power Rankings after big Week 1 win

After a thorough 4-1 victory over FC Cincinnati in the season-opener on Saturday, the Seattle Sounders have climbed one spot to No. 4 in this week’s MLS Power Rankings.


Jordan Morris bagged a brace (and was voted MLS Player of the Week), while Kelvin Leerdam and Raúl Ruidíaz got on the score sheet as well. Nicolás Lodeiro and Víctor Rodríguez each had two assists and were named along with Morris to the Team of the Week.


The Sounders will host the Colorado Rapids in Week 2 on Saturday, March 9 (7 p.m. PT; JOEtv, YouTube TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM | TICKETS).
