Seattle Sounders rise to No. 3 in MLS Power Rankings after Week 2 win over the Colorado Rapids

The Seattle Sounders have risen to No. 3 in the latest MLS Power Rankings following their 2-0 win over the Colorado Rapids last weekend.


Kelvin Leerdam and Raúl Ruidíaz each scored in the second straight match and staked Seattle to a two-goal lead inside 10 minutes. Leerdam was additionally named to the Week 2 MLS Team of the Week.


The Sounders take on the Chicago Fire this Saturday (10 a.m. PT; JOEtv, YouTube TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM) at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Ill.
