Seattle Sounders rise to No. 1 spot in MLS Power Rankings after Week 3 win over the Chicago Fire

The Seattle Sounders have climbed to the No. 1 spot in the latest MLS Power Rankings following their 4-2 road win against Chicago over the weekend and perfect 3-0-0 start to the season.


Víctor Rodríguez, Jordan Morris, Nicolás Lodeiro and Raúl Ruidíaz all contributed goals against the Fire. Ruidiaz, who iced the result with a strike in the 88th minute, scored in his eighth consecutive MLS match. Additionally, Lodeiro was named to the Week 2 MLS Team of the Week for his dominant performance against Chicago, while Morris was named to the bench.


The Sounders return to league action on Mar. 30 with an away fixture against the Vancouver Whitecaps (7:00 p.m. PT; JOEtv, YouTube TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360AM) at B.C. Place in British Columbia, Canada.
