The Seattle Sounders have remained in the top three in MLS Power Rankings following two draws in Week 25 against their Cascadia rivals the Vancouver Whitecaps and Portland Timbers.
The Sounders are No. 3 on MLSsoccer.com (No. 3 last week), No. 3 on ESPN.com (No. 3 last week) and No. 3 on SI.com (No. 3 last week).
“We should just rework the title of the Audi 2017 MLS Cup Playoffs into ‘Collision Course: Rematch,’” wrote MLSsoccer.com, intimating the Sounders and Supporters’ Shield-leading Toronto FC may very well battle again for MLS Cup.
Due to the international break, Seattle is off until Sept. 10 when it hosts the LA Galaxy (6 p.m. PT; FS1, 107.7 The End, El Rey 1360 AM | TICKETS).
