Who knew Sounders FC owner Drew Carey could sing?
The host of The Price of Right since 2007, Carey showed he’s got some serious musical chops on FOX’s hit television program, The Masked Singer.
Last night, Carey was revealed as the Llama on the hit television program, which challenges a panel of judges to guess which celebrity is performing popular songs while hidden away under different costumes.
Prior to each masked celebrity performing their first song, a video reel continuing a set of clues is aired. For the Llama, one of the hints had to do with the City of Seattle, leading to Ken Jeong guessing well-known Seattle native, and his former co-star on Community, Joel McHale.
As Carey revealed once he was unmasked, the Seattle clue was a nod to his ownership stake in Seattle Sounders FC, even giving the club a shout out for winning the 2019 MLS Cup.
“I’m in Seattle all the time because I own part of the Seattle Sounders soccer team,” he said. “We just won the MLS championship by the way!”
Carey performed “She Bangs” by Ricky Martin and “It’s Not Unusual” by Tom Jones before he was ultimately unmasked on last night’s episode.
