Seattle Sounders at LAFC starting lineup: Clint Dempsey returns, Chad Marshall out with neck sprain

The Seattle Sounders are taking on LAFC on Sunday (6 p.m. PT; FS1, YouTube, TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM) in the opening of the new Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles. Here is the Delta Starting XI:

NOTES:

- Center back Chad Marshall is out after suffering a neck sprain against Minnesota United last weekend. Gustav Svensson replaces Marshall on the back line.

- Center back Kim Kee-hee joins the starting lineup after recovering from a right calf strain. He replaces Román Torres, who was a gametime scratch with a hamstring strain. Tony Alfaro enters the matchday roster on the bench.

- Midfielder Víctor Rodríguez continues to battle a right knee sprain and is unavailable for selection.

- Forward Clint Dempsey returns to the starting lineup after coming on as a substitute last weekend. He will play as the No. 10 below Will Bruin.
