Jordan Morris has reached the quarterfinals for the 2016 AT&T MLS Goal of the Year.
The Seattle Sounders forward defeated Federico Higuain and then two separate Ignacio Piatti goals to reach the final eight.
Morris’ goal, a curling strike which came off a deft turn against Toronto FC, now faces the Colorado Rapids’ Shkelzen Gashi, who scored a brilliant free kick against the Vancouver Whitecaps.
The voting for this round ends on Saturday.
