Major League Soccer on Monday named Seattle Sounders Homegrown Player Reed Baker-Whiting to the Team of the Matchday for Matchday 32 following his dominant performance in the team's 1-1 draw against FC Dallas on Saturday.
Baker-Whiting's second half efforts in the attack resulted in the team's tying goal in the 57th minute. After winning his 1-v-1 battle down the left flank, Baker-Whiting chipped a perfect ball to the feet of Alex Roldan to rocket it one-time into the back of the net. His assist of the night marked his first of his MLS career.
Baker-Whiting and the Sounders return to action on Wednesday as they travel to Colorado to take on the Rapids in their second and final meeting of the season (6:30 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV ) at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
