With more than forty goals scored for Sounders FC 2 in 2015, there were plenty to choose from to decide the best-of-the-best.
After a week of voting, one goal rose to the top and an unlikely contender has been crowned with the 2015 S2 Goal of the Year.
Centerback Nick Miele (yes, a defender) not only scored the last goal of the season, but the best according to more than 40 percent of voters.
His match-winner against Austin Aztex in the season finale that helped S2 secure a postseason berth in the clubs inaugural season proved to be the fan-favorite, followed by Oalex Anderson’s stepover goal against Oklahoma City and Pablo Rossi’s 30-yard bomb against Real Monarchs.
