Major League Soccer on Monday named Seattle Sounders midfielder Nicolás Lodeiro to the Week 18 Team of the Week bench for his efforts in a 3-2 loss to the Portland Timbers.
Lodeiro assisted on both Sounders goals and had a game-high 68 passes, including 57 in the final third. He also finished with a game-high 95 touches and drew five fouls.
The Sounders return to action on Wednesday at the Colorado Rapids (6 p.m. PT; JOEtv, YouTube TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).
