MLS names Seattle Sounders goalkeeper Stefan Frei to Week 19 Team of the Week

Major League Soccer on Monday named Seattle Sounder goalkeeper Stefan Frei to the Week 19 Team of the Week for his efforts in the 2-1 win against the Colorado Rapids on Wednesday and the scoreless draw against the New England Revolution on Saturday night.


Frei recorded four saves in the 2-1 road win at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, including a stunning stop in stoppage time to preserve the three points. He also kept a clean sheet a few days later in the 0-0 result at Gillette Stadium against the Revs.

The Sounders return to action on Sunday at Atlanta United (11 a.m. PT; FOX, YouTube TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).
