MLS Disciplinary Committee suspends Antonio Nocerino after rough foul in ORLvSEA

The Major League Soccer Disciplinary Committee on Thursday unanimously ruled to suspend Orlando City SC midfielder Antonio Nocerino for one match and issued a fine for a play in the first half of last weekend's match at Camping World Stadium.

In the 33rd minute of the match, Nocerino kicked a ball at Clint Dempsey as he was on the ground after the whistle had been blown. Nocerino was issued a yellow card for the foul, but remained on the field until he was subbed out in the 78th minute.

You can watch the foul that led to the suspension here. The Seattle Sounders return to play this Sunday at CenturyLink Field for the first of two home matches (4 p.m. PT; FS1; KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360am).

The Disciplinary Committee also announced that it has suspended Houston Dynamo Defender David Horst for one match and issued an undisclosed fine for violent conduct in his team's 1-0 loss on the road at Montreal Impact. LA Galaxy midfielder Jeff Larentowicz was also issued a one game suspension and a fine for a serious foul in LA's 2-2 draw against the New York Red Bulls on Sunday.
