Major League Soccer has named Seattle Sounders midfielder Nicolás Lodeiro and defender Román Torres to its Week 33 Team of the Week for their efforts in a 3-0 win over the Colorado Rapids on Sunday.
Lodeiro recorded a second-half brace and was influential in leading the offensive charge after Clint Dempsey was sent off, while Torres and the back line helped earn Seattle’s second straight clean sheet.
After earning a Knockout Round bye, the Sounders will face the higher-remaining seed in the first leg of the Western Conference Semifinals this weekend.
