Major League Soccer on Thursday unveiled its Week 31 MLS Team of the Week, with Seattle Sounders attacker Léo Chú earning a spot for his high-impact performance as a substitute in last night's 1-1 draw against the Colorado Rapids.
Chú, 21, entered the match as a substitute in the 75th minute with the Rave Green trialing 1-0. It didn't take long for the Brazilian to put his stamp on the match, as his mazy dribbling and pinpoint cross set up Cristian Roldan's equalizing goal just six minutes later. The club's first-ever U-22 initiative signing, Chú has already notched a goal and an assist in just 99 minutes of MLS action as he continues to acclimate to playing abroad for the first time.
Chú and the Sounders return to action on Saturday as they host Sporting Kansas City (12:30 p.m. PT; Univision, TUDN, Twitter, FOX 13+, Prime Video, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360AM | TICKETS) at Lumen Field in a battle between the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the Western Conference.
