Seattle Sounders winger Jordan Morris has been selected as one of four winners for Major League Soccer’s FIFA 20 custom cover contest.
Earlier this month, each club nominated one player from their respective rosters as their representive for the contest. Fans across the league then voted for which players they’d most like to see grace the cover of this year’s edition of FIFA, and the Mercer Island Magician finished in the top four, earning his own custom cover.
Morris, 25, started off the 2020 campaign in top form, posting a goal and an assist in Concacaf Champions League, as well as two goals in a come-from-behind win over Chicago Fire FC in the MLS season opener. It was a continuation of his Comeback Player of the Year campaign last season, when Morris posted 13 goals and 8 assists as he helped the Sounders win MLS Cup for the second time in four years.
