While making a run for the ball in the second half of Sunday's 1-1 draw against the LA Galaxy, Seattle Sounders forward Jordan Morris pulled up with a strained hamstring. Will Bruin replaced Morris in the 61st minute, and he was helped off the pitch.
Morris, 22, has recorded three goals an assist in 23 MLS appearances this season. The reigning MLS Rookie of the Year scored 12 goals and added four assists in 2016, while also becoming the first field player in club history to appear in every match of the MLS campaign.
“We’ll take a look at it — there’s nothing we can do about it tonight,” Head Coach Brian Schmetzer said. “Obviously he’s got pretty good care, so he’ll be fine.”
