A big news day for MLS as the league will announce its Best XI following Commissioner Garber's address.
In the week leading up to the MLS Cup Final in Kansas City, the league is set to announce its Best XI following Commissioner Don Garber's annual address.
First, scheduled for 11:00 a.m. PT, Commissioner Don Garber will address the league via teleconference, discussing all things from the 2013 MLS Playoffs to the direction the league is headed. The full address will be streamed below in the video window.
Following Garber's address, MLS will stream it's announcement of the league's Best XI players in an event presented by EA Sports FIFA 14 at 2:00 p.m. PT. In 2012, Sounders new Designated Player Ozzie Alonso made the league's Best XI. Sounders broadcaster and former captain Kasey Keller made the Best XI in 2011, as well as former DP Freddie Ljungberg in 2009.
The event, hosted by Jimmy Conrad will be streamed below so be sure to check it out to see if any of Sigi Schmid's players made the team for the 2013 season.
Scheduled for later in the week, MLS will announce the Allstate Goalkeeper of the Year, MLS Newcomer of the Week (Wednesday) as well as the AT&T Goal of the Year, Save of the Year and Volkswagen MVP (Thursday).
