Following the team’s 2-2 draw against LA Galaxy on Saturday night at Lumen Field, Seattle Sounders forward Danny Musovski earned MLS Team of the Matchday honors for Matchday 33.
Musovski was named to the TOTM bench after tallying a goal and an assist during his 80 minutes on the pitch. In the 5th minute, defender Alex Roldan provided a slip pass to Musovski, who then laid the ball back for Jesús Ferreira to finish one-time from inside the box. Then in the 41st minute, Musovski capped off a beautiful sequence of passes with a close range finish, marking his 14th goal of the season and 16th across all competitions.
Musovski continues to lead the team in goals in the 2025 season. With his first-half finish on Saturday night, he is now just three away from tying Sounders alums Obafemi Martins (2014) and Raúl Ruidíaz (2021) for the most goals in an MLS campaign in club history.
The Sounders return to action on Tuesday when they visit Chase Stadium to face Inter Miami (4:30 p.m. PT; Watch on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV) in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
