Concacaf named Cristian Roldan and Fredy Montero to the Concacaf Champions League Quarterfinals Leg 1 Best XI following Tuesday’s dominant 3-0 win over Liga MX’s Club León.
Roldan earns a spot on the Best XI through a 90-minute performance that includes a tally of two assists and a penalty earned in the 29th minute of play, which was later converted by Fredy Montero. In addition to his performance, Roldan made his 250th career appearance for the Rave Green, becoming the third Sounder to reach this milestone in the club's MLS era.

Montero’s inclusion comes by way of a brace, scoring his 69th and 70th career Sounders goals all in the first half of play. The Colombian striker extended his CCL goal tally to eight, the all-time club lead in the competition, through a 31st-minute penalty and a near-post goal in the box just eight minutes later.
The Sounders return to MLS play on Saturday as they host LA Galaxy (12:30 p.m. PT) before returning to CCL action in Leg 2 of the quarterfinals at Estadio León next Thursday, March 17 (5:30 p.m. PT).
