Taqueria El Rinconsito “Goals = Free Tacos” Ticket Holder Promotion

The Taqueria El Rinconsito “Goals = Free Tacos” Ticket Holder Promotion (the “Promotion”) is sponsored by Taqueria El Rinconsito and Seattle Soccer, LLC d/b/a Seattle Sounders FC (collectively “Sponsor”).   To receive the promotional value, all participants must meet the eligibility requirements and participate in accordance with the rules set forth herein.  The Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Winners are responsible for any taxes, customs, duties and like amounts with respect to receiving the promotional value. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion at any time.

1.  ELIGIBILITY.  Eligibility to participate in the Promotion and receive the promotional value is limited to persons who are ticket holders for any home MLS Sounders FC match taking place at Lumen Field between March 2nd, 2024 and December 31, 2024, where during that match Sounders FC scores between one and four goals (“Eligible Ticket Holders”). Eligible Ticket Holders will have forty-eight (48) hours following the end of each eligible match to redeem this offer. Any effort by a participant to misrepresent their eligibility will disqualify that participant. Participants who disregard these Official Rules are not eligible to participate or win.  Directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents and licenses, or their immediate families and household members (spouse, parent, child and sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), of Sponsor, Major League Soccer, L.L.C. (“MLS”), and Soccer United Marketing, LLC (“SUM” and collectively with Seattle Sounders FC and MLS, the “MLS Entities”) and each of their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible. 

2.  PROMOTIONAL VALUE OFFERED: All Eligible Ticket Holders shall be entitled to receive one (1) free taco for each goal scored (up to four free tacos) per ticket, by producing that ticket in paper or electronic form, at any participating Taqueria El Rinconsito location on the day of or the day following the match.  Only regular soft tacos (chicken, fried pork, spicy pork). Please visit www.elrinconsito.com for all participating locations.  Promotional value is not transferrable and is not substitutable with cash or cash equivalent.  The approximate retail value of each taco is $2.32.  No rain checks will be issued.  A free taco shall be offered each and every time Sounders FC score one or more goals at a home MLS match during the 2024 season (“Qualifying Match”), up to four goals per match, unless the Sponsor suspends or cancels the promotion for any reason.  Any attempt by a ticket holder with an electronic ticket to redeem the promotional value for more than the qualifying amount of tacos for any Qualifying Match shall be a direct violation of these Official Rules and ticket holder may become ineligible to receive any further promotional value from a future Qualifying Match.  Any participating Taqueria El Rinconsito location shall have the discretion not to honor the promotional value for any ticket holder whom in their reasonable belief is attempting to circumvent or disregard these Official Rules.  

3.  GENERAL RULES: Each participant in the Promotion agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final.  The Sponsor is not responsible for any printing errors in these Official Rules or otherwise in any materials available on any Promotion website or mobile application page. By participating in the promotion for themselves and on behalf of their heirs, successor and assigns hereby grants to the participating Taqueria El Rinconsito, Sponsor, its agents and others working on its behalf the right to use the Participant’s name, likeness, voice, and any additional audio, video or photographs taken by the Sponsor or its affiliates or representatives during the Promotion for advertising and marketing purposes, including on the Promotion website, without additional compensation except where prohibited by law, and further grants Sponsor the right to use contestant contact information  to contact contestants about other Sponsor or Sounders FC programs. Sponsor shall not be responsible for lost, late, misidentified, or misdirected entries, or telecommunication or computer hardware or software performance, errors, delays, or failures. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or the administration of the Promotion. Each participant hereby releases, and agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, Seattle Soccer, LLC d/b/a Seattle Sounders FC, Taqueria El Rinconsito, Major League Soccer, L.L.C. and Soccer United Marketing, LLC, Lumen Field and Events Center, First & Goal, Inc., those working on their behalf, and each of their respective owners, officers, members, managers, directors, representatives, employees, agents, successors and assigns (collectively “Released Parties”), from any damage, injury, death, loss or other liability, either at law or equity, whether known or unknown, asserted or non-asserted, that may arise from or in any way relate to participation in this Promotion or the awarding, acceptance, use or misuse of the promotional value or any other substitute prize. Any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Promotion shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. This Promotion shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the internal laws of the State of Washington. Any action or litigation concerning this Promotion shall take place exclusively in the federal or state courts sitting in King County, Washington, and each participant expressly consents to the jurisdiction of and venue in such courts and waives all defenses of lack of jurisdiction and inconvenient forum with respect to such courts. ANY CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND/OR AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ENTERING THIS PROMOTION. PARTICIPANT HEREBY WAIVES ANY RIGHTS OR CLAIMS TO ATTORNEY'ʹS FEES, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF PARTICIPANT WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR NOT AND WHETHER BASED UPON NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE.

Released Parties are not responsible for stolen, illegible, lost, damaged, garbled, delayed, undelivered, or inaccurate tickets. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (“ISP”), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Promotion, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties occurring in connection with the administration of the Promotion, the processing of eligible tickets, or in any Promotion-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion.  Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to Participant’s or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Promotion or from use of any online tool or mobile application.  Sponsor reserves the right to modify these rules at any time.

4. DATA PRIVACY AND SECURITY 

The Collection of Information

You are being asked to willfully provide personal information which is data that can be used to contact you or members of your household in the future.  Personal Information, if collected, will only be collected by Sponsor for the primary purpose of fulfilling the Promotion, determining your eligibility, and notifying you of winning. By entering the Promotion, participant acknowledges and agrees that he/she/they is voluntarily providing the information requested at the time of entry and does so knowing that he/she/they is sharing personal information which may be Personally Identifiable Information, and you consent to Sponsor and/or MLS and/or SUM contacting you with future promotions, contests, advertisements, and other marketing materials.  Participant’s information is subject to both the Major League Soccer Data Privacy and Security policy which can be found at https://www.mlssoccer.com/privacy-policy and the Major League Soccer Terms of Service which can be found at https://www.mlssoccer.com/terms-service. Sponsor agrees that except as otherwise described in these Official Rules to only use and share your personal data in accordance with MLS’s Privacy Policy. Sounders may also combine this information with other information. You are not required to provide any personal data to Sponsor, however choosing not to do so may prevent Sponsor from fulfilling the Promotion. Sponsor may collect one or more of the following from you: your name, your mailing address, your email address, your mobile phone or home phone number, your social media handles, contact preferences, age, and whether or not you are a season ticket member.  Personal information may include Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”), which is information that can identify an individual and includes information such as name, address, telephone number, email address, social security number, and date of birth. 

Data Protection, Retention, and Destruction

Your data, including PII, if any which may be collected by Sponsor from participant shall only be used for the purposes of this Promotion and shall not be further processed or disclosed without the consent of participant. PII will be acquired, retained, and destroyed consistent with the MLS Privacy Policy and internal company controls for confidentiality, retention and destruction of such information and data. Specifically, with respect to PII, your PII will only be retained for the duration of the Promotion, and any time after the duration of the Promotion for which the PII is necessary to fulfill the Promotion. PII will be destroyed when no longer needed for the specific purpose for which it was provided.

The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Promotion for any reason, including should virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation of the Promotion
