MLS Experience
2013: Started six of 22 appearances, logging 709 minutes. Scored in 85th minute in 3-1 win vs. Columbus Crew on 8/3 for second straight game with a goal. Scored in 1-1 draw vs. Chicago Fire on July 27. Made return in 3-0 U.S. Open Cup loss at FC Dallas on 6/12, after missing two months with a lower back injury.
2012: Appeared in nine games (two starts), logging 253 regular season minutes. Appeared as a substitute in three playoff games. Started all four group stage matches in CONCACAF Champions League play and tallied two goals and two assists. Started and played 90 minutes in 1-0 loss to San Antonio Scorpions in third round of Open Cup. Started all nine of the team's reserve league matches and led the team with 11 goals scored.
2011: Scored four goals to tie an MLS career high and added one assist in 28 games, including 16 starts, before missing final month of the season and playoffs due to injury. All four goals came in his first 13 games; he played the rest of the season with a labrum injury in his hip. Had surgery in early October to repair torn labrum in hip, missing remainder of the year.
2010: Returned from an early-season injury and appeared in 14 league games, making nine starts, scoring three goals and adding an assist. First goal came in 4-1 loss at LA on 6/5. Netted game-winning goal in season finale vs. SEA on 10/23. Started three of four SuperLiga games.
2009: Acquired from San Jose on 6/9 and voted Dynamo Newcomer of the Year after contributing three goals in only eight games. Made Dynamo debut one day after joining club. Three days later, scored twice in 3-1 win at FCD on 6/13. Appeared as a substitute in both legs of conference semifinal series vs. SEA. Made three CCL appearances. Scored in 5-1 win vs. Árabe Unido on 9/22. Appeared in nine games for San Jose, including five starts, and notched a goal and two assists before being traded to Houston.
Other Professional Experience
2007-08: Played two years with FK Haugesund in Norway. Scored 21 goals in 51 games. Helped the team reach the 2007 Norwegian Cup final before losing 2-0 to Lillestrom.
2006: Signed with the Seattle Sounders of USL-1. Named USL Rookie of the Year after tying for the league lead with 18 goals in 27 appearances in his first years as a professional.
College
Played two years at Seattle University from 2004-05. Led Seattle in scoring with nine goals and five assists as a senior in 2005, earning first-team all-Great Northwest Athletic Conference honors. Helped Redhawks to an unbeaten season (22-0-1) and Division II national championship in 2004 with eight goals. Played two years at Skagit Valley College from 2002-03.

Played high school soccer at Kentwood High School in Kent, Wash. Was a first-team all-league selection.
Personal
Parents are Bill and Julie Weaver. Has one sister, Melissa. Married to Estrella Weaver. One of his favorite things to do when off the field is fly-fishing. Favorite athlete growing up was former Seattle SuperSonics guard Gary Payton. If not playing soccer, he would be working in his family's construction business. Listens to English band Muse. Favorite movie is the 3D thriller "Avatar."
