Have a hit, Aaron Kovar.
The Seattle Sounders Homegrown product unleashed a peach of a free kick from 25 yards out in the 48th minute on Wednesday that beat Andrew Tarbell to level the Round of 16 U.S. Open Cup match at 1-1.
The Sounders conceded in the 6th minute when Shea Salinas scored on a redirect after a corner kick. Seattle then went down to 10 men in the 35th minute after Francisco Narbon saw red for a tackle from behind.

The goal was Kovar’s second in as many Open Cup matches this year after scoring the Sounders’ opener in a 2-1 win over the Portland Timbers in the Fourth Round on June 13.
