Concacaf today announced the nominees for the sixth annual Concacaf Awards, which honors the year's top performers across North and Central America. Sounders midfielder Nicolás Lodeiro has been included as a finalist for the Male Best XI in a group that also features MLS players Jonathan Osorio and Michael Bradley (Toronto).
Lodeiro, 29, appeared in 27 MLS matches this season, recording eight goals and a team-high 16 assists. He led MLS with eight-game winning assists and fouls suffered (94). After 2.5 seasons with the Rave Green, Lodeiro is the club's all-time assists leader (35).
Voting for Concacaf Awards ends on Jan. 8 at 8:59 p.m. PT.
