In Spain, the Sounders got Zunes from Microsoft they can use to listen to music, watch movies or prepare for their next game. You can own one too.
In their final days in La Manga, Spain, the Sounders FC players and staff were all given brand new Zune media players from Microsoft, the perfect companion for the team, in green color and with the Sounders FC logo etched on the back. The players can now see just how much their Zune HD can do for them.
In addition to the benefits of a typical portable mp3 player, the Zune HD also has HD radio and HD video out capabilities (the HD Video functionality requires a dock sold separately) as well as wireless internet browsing, games and applications.
That leaves hours of entertainment for the players while flying on lengthy road trips, preparing in the locker room or just lounging around the players’ lounge at their training facility at Starfire.
With the crystal-clear sound of the HD Radio and the brilliant crisp screen, they prepare for the match with game-tapes of their next opponent – or can watch their latest highlight goal on their HD TV’s in brilliant 720p Hi-definition quality. Add to that the ability to watch movies and TV shows on their flights to the east coast.
Then, when they arrive to their travel site, they can settle in with the Zune’s HD radio technology, allowing access to local HD radio stations so they can stay in tune to the latest music trends all over the country – or just listen to what is on the minds of the local sports jocks.
