It’s déjà vu all over again. Last Saturday, Sounders FC faced Vancouver Whitecaps FC at BC Place in the third and final regular season matchup with the Rave Green topping the Supporters’ Shield leaders 3-0 en route to claiming its first Cascadia Cup trophy since 2011. Now, on Wednesday night the two regional rivals square off in the Group Stage of the 2015-2016 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League. With a win, the Sounders would advance to the Knockout Round for the third time in club history.
