SEATTLE, WASH. – Major League Soccer today announced that Sounders FC’s home match against FC Dallas this Sunday, October 15 has been moved to FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes. Previously scheduled to air on JOEtv and Univision-Seattle, the move allows for a national television audience to watch as Seattle attempts to earn its ninth-consecutive berth in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs in the penultimate match of the 2017 regular season. Local radio coverage on KIRO Radio 97.3 FM and El Rey 1360 AM is set to air as scheduled.
Media and fans are also reminded that Sunday’s kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. PT after previously being scheduled for 2:00 p.m. PT.
Seattle is currently tied for third in the Western Conference with the Portland Timbers, with 47 points (12-9-11), one point shy of Sporting Kansas City for second place and four points below Vancouver for the top spot. A win this weekend would ensure a postseason position for Brian Schmetzer’s side, while a loss or draw could also see Seattle clinch, contingent upon other results across Major League Soccer. The Rave Green conclude their regular-season campaign on Decision Day, next Sunday, October 22 against the Colorado Rapids (1:00 p.m. PT / JOEtv, Univision-Seattle, 107.7 The End, El Rey 1360 AM).
