SEATTLE, WASH. – Following the team’s historic MLS Cup victory over Toronto FC, Seattle Sounders FC is being honored today by Washington State with a flag-raising ceremony to take place on the north steps of the Legislative Building at 1:30 p.m. PT.
Governor Jay Inslee is joined by Seattle Head Coach Brian Schmetzer and team alums and ambassadors Kasey Keller and Roger Levesque, as the club is celebrated for winning Major League Soccer’s highest honor for the first time in club history.
