SEATTLE, WASH. - Seattle Sounders FC is set to take on FC Dallas in the Western Conference Semfinals of the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs, beginning with the first leg of a two-match aggregate series on Sunday, November 2. The fourth-seeded FC Dallas faces top-seeded Seattle after defeating fifth-seeded Vancouver Whitecaps FC, 2-1, in the West Conference Knockout Round match on Wednesday evening.
Sunday's match kicks-off at 6:00 p.m. PST from Toyota Stadium and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and TSN2. Regional radio coverage is slated for 97.3 KIRO FM with Ross Fletcher on the call, and on ESPN Deportes 1490 with Rene Aleman and Noe Menendez.
Sounders FC earned the top seed in the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs by capturing the 2014 Supporters' Shield with a 2-0 win over the LA Galaxy on Saturday in the regular season finale. Seattle finished the regular season campaign with a club-record 64 points and became the first team in the post-shootout era to earn 20 wins in a single season.
Fans not traveling to Dallas can catch all the action on Sunday at Snoqualmie Brewery and Taproom, as Sounders FC and the Eastside Supporters are hosting a road match viewing party beginning at 5:30 p.m. PST, with the MLS Supporters' Shield onsite.
Ahead of Seattle's 2014 postseason efforts, the club has teamed with various corporate partners to invite fans to get involved in the Good Playoff Karma campaign.
