SEATTLE, WASH. – Seattle Sounders FC today announced a pair of date changes to two upcoming home matches. The club’s match against expansion side Austin FC on May 29 has moved to May 30 at 6:30 p.m. PT, as FS1 has picked-up the contest for a national television audience. Additionally, Seattle’s match against the San Jose Earthquakes on August 1 has been moved to July 31 at 2:00 p.m. PT, now airing on JOEtv and Prime Video. Both matches have local radio broadcasts on 950 KJR AM (English) and El Rey 1360 AM (Spanish).
Following a 3-0 win over the LA Galaxy on Sunday, Sounders FC (2-0-1, 7 points) jumped to the top of the Western Conference three weeks into the 2021 season. The Rave Green hit the road this Sunday, May 9 against Cascadia rival Portland Timbers at Providence Park (12:00 p.m. PT / ABC, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).
