SEATTLE, WASH. – Seattle Sounders FC today announced that the club’s MLS Cup Final match on November 10 against Toronto FC at CenturyLink Field has officially sold out. Season Members were offered a presale opportunity on October 31, with tickets available to the public beginning at 10:00 a.m. PT this morning.
A capacity crowd in excess of 69,000 will pack CenturyLink Field next Sunday, in what will be the most attended soccer match in Seattle history.
“As evidenced by today’s near-immediate sellout, our fans are the most passionate and dedicated in the league,” said Sounders FC Owner Adrian Hanauer. “We are thrilled to be playing a match of this magnitude in front of a historic home crowd of more than 69,000. This club has always benefited from the intensity and fervor that our fans bring to CenturyLink Field and next Sunday is a chance to add a historic new chapter to our homefield advantage.”
2019 marks the third time in four seasons that Sounders FC has appeared in Major League Soccer’s championship match, and the first time the Rave Green have played the contest on their home turf at CenturyLink Field. The club previously defeated Toronto FC at BMO Field in 2016 for its first-ever MLS Cup, before returning and falling to the Reds on the road in 2017.
Sounders and Toronto FC ticket allocations are sold out. Fans who were unable to secure tickets to the match can sign up on a ticketing waitlist, as a very limited number of seats currently being held by Major League Soccer may be released for purchase to the general public at some point next week. The waitlist can be accessed HERE.
Fans may also visit SeatGeek.com for resale inventory and those who choose to utilize the secondary market to find seats are reminded to choose a verified reseller to avoid counterfeit tickets.
Next Sunday’s match is set to broadcast on ABC and Univision in a 12:00 p.m. PT kickoff.
