Seattle Sounders FC today announced that the club and Rad Power Bikes have signed a multi-year partnership making Rad the Official and Exclusive Ebike of Sounders FC.
The partnership centers around sustainability, with Rad activating at Sounders FC matches in various capacities, including giving fans the opportunity to test ride and learn about ebikes and even win a custom Sounders FC x Rad ebike of their own.

Understanding the impact that matchday traffic can have on the environment, the Rave Green encourage fans to utilize transit and alternative forms of transportation to attend matches, which is made easier this season with the complimentary bike valet, presented by Rad Power Bikes. This popular program returns to Sounders FC matchdays in 2024 thanks to Rad’s investment and allows fans arriving by bicycle and ebike to park for free with the bike valet – operated by Cascade Bicycle Club – starting two hours before kickoff.
Sounders fans who are interested in learning more about ebikes don’t even have to make a separate trip to a Rad storefront, with the introduction of the Rad Power Bikes Test Ride Zone at Sounders FC home matches. Located outside the northwest corner of the stadium and available to ticketed and unticketed fans alike, the matchday Test Ride Zone provides an opportunity to speak to Rad representatives and take a spin on Rad Power Bikes. Whether a fan is well-versed in ebikes or simply curious to discover what the fuss is about, they can stop by to learn more about Rad’s offerings and how an ebike can support their unique individual transportation needs while helping them to live a healthier and more environmentally friendly lifestyle.
To further celebrate their partnership, Sounders FC and Rad Power Bikes are holding a custom bike sweepstakes. Over the course of the season, 10 fans will win an exclusive co-branded SFC x Rad Power Bikes ebike along with two tickets to an upcoming Sounders match to recognize their prize with a halftime feature in-stadium. There are various ways to enter the contest, including an in-person sign up at the Rad Power Bikes Test Ride Zone before home matches and digitally through Sounders FC’s social channels. Both Rad’s bike valet program and Test Ride Zone are available starting this Saturday, April 20, as Sounders FC takes on Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the first-annual Pod Night match. Pod Night marks Sounders FC’s celebration of Earth Month with a special focus on the Pacific Northwest’s majestic orca populations, which has inspired the club across the decades. Elements of the match will highlight the club’s continued work to Protect Our Planet, which is further illustrated through its partnership with Rad.
