SEATTLE, WASH. – Following a dramatic penalty-shootout victory over Toronto FC to win the 2016 MLS Cup, Sounders FC returns to Seattle on Sunday, December 11. The team is expected to arrive at approximately 3:15 p.m. PT, and both media and fans are invited to come to Boeing Field’s King County International Terminal to welcome the victorious Rave Green home. Please note that the team’s arrival time is subject to change based on travel delays.

Working members of the press should gather inside Boeing Field’s King County International Terminal no later than 3:00 p.m. PT in order to proceed as a group with Sounders FC representatives to a designated arrival coverage zone on the tarmac. Media have the opportunity to photograph and film the team with the MLS Cup while de-boarding the plane, as well as conducting interviews with select players.
Fans are being asked to gather outside the main terminal, where the team will exit to greet the crowd upon arrival.
