Sounders FC Acquires $50,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money

RENTON, WASH. – Sounders FC today announced that it has acquired $50,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM) from Real Salt Lake in exchange for a 2026 International Roster Slot.

With the move, Seattle has no remaining open 2026 International Roster Slots. The one current slot the club possesses is filled by Kim Kee-hee, with Nikola Petković (Season-Ending Injury List) and Yu Tsukanome (out on loan) no longer occupying International Roster Slots this season.

Riding a three-match winning streak and unbeaten in its last eight games (3-0-5), Seattle Sounders FC (10-9-8, 38 points) hits the road for a pair of road fixtures, first against the New England Revolution on Saturday, October 10 at Gillette Stadium (4:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360) before facing FC Dallas on Wednesday, October 14 at Toyota Stadium (5:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM). Brian Schmetzer's club then returns home to host CF Montréal on Saturday, October 17 on the Emerald Queen Casino Pitch at Lumen Field (7:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, 93.3 KJR FM, El Rey 1360 AM).
